Cookies
Two cookies.Both of them necessary.
This site sets no optional cookie before you have chosen. Today it sets two cookies in total, and both are strictly necessary for the pages and the enquiry form to work.
Last updated: 19 October 2026
1. What a cookie is here
A cookie is a short piece of text your browser keeps for a site and sends back on the next request. We use them for two things only: to keep your form session together, and to remember which categories of cookie you agreed to.
2. The cookies we set
| Name | Category | What it does | How long |
|---|---|---|---|
jackfever_session | Strictly necessary | Keeps the enquiry form together between the page and the submission, and carries the security token that stops the form being posted from another site. | Until you close the browser |
jackfever_cookie_choice | Strictly necessary | Stores which categories you accepted, so the notice does not come back on every page. | 180 days |
The table scrolls sideways on a narrow screen. Both cookies are first-party, both are set with SameSite=Lax, and neither is used to profile you.
3. Categories you can switch
- Strictly necessary. The two cookies above. They cannot be switched off, because without them the form cannot be submitted safely and your choice cannot be remembered.
- Analytics. Off by default. No analytics cookie and no analytics tag is loaded on this site today.
- Marketing. Off by default. No advertising cookie and no advertising tag is loaded on this site today.
The two optional categories exist in the dialog so that your choice is recorded before anything is ever added. If we do add a measurement tool, it will load only for visitors who have switched the matching category on.
4. How to change your choice
Use the Cookie settings button in the footer of any page. It opens the same dialog as the first notice, with your current choice already shown. Rejecting everything keeps only the two necessary cookies.
You can also delete cookies in your browser settings. If you delete jackfever_cookie_choice, the notice appears again on your next visit.
5. Consent signals
Before you choose anything, this site sets the four Google consent signals ad_storage, analytics_storage, ad_user_data and ad_personalization to denied. They are updated only when you accept a category. No Google tag is loaded on the site today, so nothing reads those signals yet.
If Google services are used in future, these documents describe how Google handles data from sites using them: How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services and Google’s business privacy information.
6. Without JavaScript
If JavaScript is switched off, no optional cookie can be set at all, and no choice can be stored, so the notice will appear again on your next visit. Everything on the site, including the enquiry form, works in that state.
7. More
What we do with the contents of the enquiry form is described in the privacy policy.
