Prices, taxes included

One figurefor the whole evening.

Every programme carries a starting price and a planning range. The starting price is the programme exactly as it is listed; the range is what comparable evenings have actually been quoted at once the guest count, the hours and the room were known. The final sum is written into the proposal, and it does not move afterwards.

What the figurecovers.

Included

  • Equipment, props and set pieces listed on the programme page
  • Light, sound, stands, cabling and ballast weights
  • Crew for the stated hours, in dress code or costume
  • Load-in, build, load-out and removal of our own waste
  • Printed matter: run sheet, role cards, maps, score sheets
  • Travel inside the Saguenay region
  • Taxes

Not included

  • Food, drink and bar service
  • Venue hire and anything the venue charges separately
  • Seating and dining furniture, unless a programme lists it
  • Travel and crew accommodation beyond the region, quoted as separate lines
  • Rewriting a script around your own story, quoted as a separate line
  • Overtime beyond the agreed hours, charged per started hour

The price is for the whole event and is not multiplied by the number of guests. A smaller group does not lower it, because the crew, the build and the equipment stay the same. The price is the same across the country. The hours listed are the hours your guests are in the room: load-in and load-out happen outside them.

What happensafter you write.

  1. Same day, usually

We answer whether the date, the crew and the equipment are free. Two working days at the outside.

  2. A written proposal

One page: the programme as it will run, the crew, the hours, the final figure and every separate line, such as travel.

  3. Advance and date

A 40 per cent advance payment confirms the date. Until the proposal is signed and the advance has arrived, the date is not held.

  4. Site visit and run sheet

We walk the room with the venue, agree the load-in hours and send the run sheet to both of you. The remainder is due 14 days after the event.

Sending the enquiry form is not a booking of the date.

$3,900

Harbour Cipher, three hours, up to 200 guests: the lowest starting price on the shelf. The free play slots zone, which is an add-on rather than a programme, starts at $2,850.

Payment is in two parts: a 40 per cent advance on signature, the remainder 14 days after the event. We invoice from Chicoutimi, in Canadian dollars, with the tax shown as a line on the invoice.

Questionsabout money.

Why is the price given as "from"?

Because the figure moves with the guest count, the hours and the room. The catalogue figure is the starting price for the programme as listed, and the planning range next to it is what comparable evenings have actually been quoted at. The final sum is written in the proposal you receive, and it does not change afterwards.

Is the price multiplied by the number of guests?

No. It is a price for the whole event. A smaller group does not lower it, because the crew, the build and the equipment are the same. The price is the same across the country.

Are load-in and load-out part of the programme hours?

No. The hours listed for each programme are the hours your guests are in the room. Load-in and load-out happen before and after, and we agree those hours with the venue separately.

When do we pay, and when is the date ours?

A 40 per cent advance payment confirms the date, and the remainder is due 14 days after the event. Sending the enquiry form is not a booking: the date is held only when the written proposal is signed and the advance payment has arrived.
